Spacious Apartments With Modern Furnishings
To secure a space at The Standard at Boone, click the Apply Now tab and fill out the online application. Applicants can select their desired floor plan, among other options. The final step of securing a spot is signing the housing contract. Transfer students may also apply in person by visiting the leasing office. Due to the high demand for App State off campus housing, we recommend that transfer students apply as soon as possible to ensure their space is secured. We offer suites in multiple layouts to accommodate a range of student living preferences, which include studio apartments, one-bedroom apartments, two-bedroom apartments, three-bedroom apartments, and four-bedroom apartments. Our furnished apartments boast spacious, private bedrooms for resident privacy. Private bathrooms are available in select floor plans.
College success starts with your living space. That’s why we offer roommate matching services for our App State apartments. Residents are asked to fill out a questionnaire that features details about preferred lifestyles, living habits, extracurricular activities, hobbies, and other details that help our team to successfully match residents. Each unit comes with customized furniture packages, which include a sofa and chair; a coffee table and end table; an entertainment stand; and seating for dining. Each bedroom features a mattress and a bed frame; a desk and a desk chair; a nightstand; and a dresser. Additionally, each unit is outfitted with stainless steel appliances, which include an oven with a range, a microwave, a refrigerator, a dishwasher, and an in-unit washer and dryer. Additional apartment features include ceiling fans, vaulted ceilings, hardwood-style flooring in common areas, granite countertops, and a flat-screen TV in each living room.
Installment payments include certain utilities, such as water, waste, and pest control, as well as in-unit Wi-Fi, furniture, cable TV, and full access to our community amenities. Each monthly payment is due on the first (1st) day of each month and must be paid prior to 5 p.m. on the fifth (5th) day of the month to avoid late fees. Residents may submit payments either in the management office or online through our resident portal.
Our transfer student housing offers exclusive community amenities, which include heated outdoor spas; a resident clubhouse with flat-screen TVs; Starbucks™ café bar; 24-hour study lounge and computer lab; shuffleboard and pool tables; extensive fitness facilities, including a cardio studio and strength center; outdoor climbing rock; and an outdoor grill. Secure garage parking is offered on-site for an additional fee. In addition, bike racks are included in the deck.
Our property is located off Blowing Rock Road, which is across the street from Appalachian Panhellenic Hall. Our residents enjoy living in a convenient location, minutes from the heart of App State campus, shopping, dining, and other popular local destinations.

Our transfer student housing features a convenient location near Appalachian State University’s main campus. Additionally, our student housing location is in close proximity to Boone Mall, as well as multiple retail stores and boutiques; restaurants, including Sticky Boy Bread Company and The Appalachian Mountain Brewery; parks, such as Boone Park and Durham Park; and highways.
